Google Chrome
0 commentsHey guys, I am posting from the all-new web browser developed by the good folks at Google, "Google Chrome". So far, I am freaking loving it.
- Speed - 10/10 - This is the fastest brower I've ever used. Pages load insanely quick....is this really Comcast?!
- Design - 8.5/10 - It is still in beta so some things could change. The layout is great and very easy to use. The brower is very clean with just about the basics.
- Unique Features - 10/10 - Incognito mode! This is a must-have for surfers at work. Hopefully, the mode works as described. More testing will have to go into this, but for now I'll give it a 10.
- Add-Ons - 2/10 - As far as I know, there are slim to none at this point, but hell, it just came out a few hours ago! I will give it some time and update this score. They need to get ADBLOCK+ and NoScript for me to make this my default browser over Firefox.

Fantasy Draft #2
0 commentsI ended up with pick 6th of 8 in my second fantasy draft of the season. Here is a list that breakdowns the picks and decisions:
(Note): This is the first time EVER I have gone RB-RB in the 1st-2nd round; I guess I will see how it works out for me.
1. Joseph Addai: I've never had him on one of my fantasy teams before. Brady was gone, and Addai was the best value available.
2. Ryan Grant: Same as above, the best value available.
3. Reggie Wayne: The best receiver available; it is hard to go wrong with a WR on the colts starting lineup.
4. Braylon Edwards: I was really surprised he was still here at this pick. This might have been my best pick of the draft. I know someone took a worse receiver with Edwards still on the board. I'll edit back if I can remember who the WR was taken.
5. Carson Palmer: I didn't want him in this spot, but everyone was taking QBs really early in this draft. If I didn't grab Palmer, I was going to be left with Favre or McNabb, which I am not too high on this year. I could have ended up with even worse than McNabb if other players decided to grab backups and block me from any of the above-average QB.
6. Jason Witten: Someone took Antonio Gates right before me on this pick, and I was really excited about it. I have Gates ranked 3rd overall on my TE board. I have a feeling he will be week-to-week this entire season.
7. Steve Smith: He was being avoided like the plague. I know he is suspended the first 2 games of the season, but who else do they have to throw to? DJ Hackett? I think not. Carolina should have went after Shockey.
8. Titans D - Go Titans!
Now in random order (All bench except for kicker):
Ricky Williams
Micheal Turner
Dwayne Bowe
Shayne Graham
David Garrard
Anthony Gonzalez
Tony Schefller
Chris Perry
At the end of it, I really liked this draft. I didn't get the best RB, WR, or QB; I think I have the best overall at each position after averages are taken into consideration. There might be 1 or 2 other teams that are excessively strong though. Among benches, mine is insanely strong compared to others. 3 starting RB on the bench!

The Pac is BACK
0 commentsDon't get me wrong, I would rather see this piece of shit rotting in some jail void of all his cashmoney, but then we wouldn't get to watch this happen year:

Some friends of mine and I started a website for Diablo 3. We know D3 is a long time away, but this gives up ample time to get a userbase started. I posted this link on one of my most visited forums, but some of the posters mocked us and said it had no chance.
Google > "diablo 3 trading" or "diablo 3 items" > We are first or second on most of the searches already!!! Better than we can have imagined considering the site has only been live about a month.
The homepage currently links directly to the forums, but the mainpage will be back up after some modifications are completed. I hope you guys like it! Here: www.d3gaming.com

1 Million Neighbors
0 commentsWould you like to have 1 million neighbors who share the local food court? If your answer is yes, move to Dubai. I would personally freaking LOVE to live at this place.
On another note...off to class :( First day back and I have a 6~9 class ( QM 4010: Decision Science Techniques). Wish me luck!

Fantasy Draft #1
0 commentsWell, my first of two drafts came to an end earlier tonight. I ended up with 8th pick of a 14 man draft. Not great, but not bad. Here is a list of my picks and decisions behind some:
- Peyton Manning (QB) : I got 8th pick, and none of the premier RB were left. At this point, I wanted Randy Moss to just go ahead and grab the best WR; he got grabbed with the 7th pick :( Oh well, Peyton is loved here in TN !
- Maurice Jones-Drew (RB) : He was the best available at the time. I didn't want to go with someone who splits time, but how long can Fred Taylor keep it up?!?!
- Wes Welker (WR) : Last year I was lucky enough to grab Welker in the 7th round with this same group of players. I told them he was going to dominate last year, and I was right. The guy hardly has injury problems, has great hands, and never gets double coverage as a slot guy.
- Jason Witten (TE) : Some experts would say the fourth round is too early to draft a TE, but my draft class has a lot of teams. If this was a 8-12 man draft, I would have held off here. I wanted to get the best TE since I didn't get the best possible WR or RB. I have a feeling Gates is going to be in-and-out a lot this season. Note: I would have also taken Winslow over Gates.
- Donald Driver (WR) : Best available. I wasn't too happy with this pick.
- Anthony Gonzalez (WR) : This is my Wes Welker of the 2007 fantasy draft.
- Tennessee Defense (DEF) : I wouldn't normally draft a DEF this high, but other players were taking this during this round, and DEF is weighed a little more heavily in our custom league than most default leagues. Go Titans!
- Jonathan Stewart (RB - Bench) : A rookie isn't exactly what you want your 2nd RB to be, but wait until you see my bench RB :)
- Ronnie Brown (RB - Bench) : Last year he was great in fantasy, but can he come back healthy this year? Time will tell.
- Patrick Willis (D, DL) : I plan on sticking him in the (D) position. We get a point per tackle, and this guy is the truth.
- Antonio Cramartie (DB) : He gets the most picks in the league.
- Mario Williams (D, DL) : My DL player. I kind of wanted Vanden Bosch because I am a huge Titan's fan, but he was taken. I can't complain, and Williams had better stats last year.
- Kevin Walter (WR - Bench) : If you don't know who he is, you probably will by the end of this year. Or if your team plays the Texans and lose.
- Jeff Reed (K) : MANY** of the kickers were gone at this point. One guy took Adam Vinatiere in the 4th ROUND!!!!! Wow....lol.
- Jamarcuss Russell (QB - Bench) : Best available starting backup QB on the board.
- Nick Barnett (D, DL - Bench) : See above for DEF player.
- O. Atogwe (DB - Bench) : I am not going to attempt to type Oshiomogho, oops.
- Desean Jackson (WR - Bench) : With a lot of the Eagles injured at the WR position, Jackson could have great value here.
- Bo Scaife (TE - Bench) : Meh, Go Titans!
- Ricky Williams (RB - Bench) : Could be the steal of the entire draft. Starting RB for a team that has hardly no passing threats, and he had a great camp.
- Chris Brown (RB - Bench) : I just wanted to take whatever starting RB was left, and Brown was about it.

Upcomming Games
0 comments
I haven't been too excited about console releases in... a long ass time. Also, I haven't played any of the "Tales of" games by Namco, but I am going to try out Tales of Vesperia.
The combat system looks fresh and hands-on. Here is a clip of some combat gameplay:
Look for Tales of Vesperia in stores around August 26.
Another game I am going to give a try is Infinite Undiscovery. It is being published by Square-Enix, which is a good thing, but developed by Tri-Ace, which is a bad thing. The look of the game is nice; the graphics are one of the first to impress me on the next-gen systems for a JRPG.
One of the seeminngly annoying aspects of the game is the constant battlecrys. They seem to have fans on the gaming forums in a small-scale uproar. Here is an example:
Look for Infinite Undiscovery around September 1.
